Leaders are on hand to care for your little one or give you a hand during feeding and changing.  We do all this (and more) so you can relax and take a much-deserved “breather”.

We know being “attached” to a newborn can be tiring, so want you to feel welcome to take some time to yourself and be able to participate more fully in the service. You can communicate any needs or routines with leaders at the start of the service, and we provide a locker space for all the bits and pieces you may need to bring along for bubs. And should you need to nurse or feed,  our PODS room includes a TV screen with a live feed to the church services so you won’t miss out on a thing.

We’ve got changing facilities, a microwave and high chairs. Plus an attached sleeping room (sound proofed and dimly lit) complete with portacots so your child can have their regular sleep. We ask that you do not bring a pram as we have limited space available, however, you may like to bring other familiar items such as your child’s bouncer/capsule to sleep in or use our cots.

Sickness

If your child is unwell (ie: has a persistent cough/runny nose or temperature and/or has had diarrhoea in the last twenty four hours) we ask that you do not bring them to Victory Kids, so that we can prevent the illness from spreading to the other children and volunteers.

Prams

Please do not bring a pram with you into Victory Church. Not only is this a hazard to other children in the kids rooms, but it is also a fire hazard as we can not evacuate quickly enough around them. In light of this, we have a pre-determined parking area for families with young children directly opposite the foyer entrance along the fence. Please communicate to the car park team on your arrival to the car park so that they can direct you to this. This way you can easily transport your child from your car into the PODS room.

Collection of your children

Please remember to sign your child out of PODS as soon as possible. Please also be considerate of nursing mothers, and encourage any other family members (eg: siblings, grandparents) or friends to wait for you outside of the PODS room, whilst collecting your child.

The word “fresh” means newness, vigor, cheekiness, unspoiled, pure and refreshing. How perfectly does that describe this season of childhood? In the Fresh program, our loving leaders introduce children to God through developmentally appropriate play, stories and songs

Healthy, Safe Snacks

We ask that you provide a snack for your child to eat, and ensure that it is healthy (eg: fruit, vegetables, rice crackers, sandwich) and allergy-friendly (ie: no nuts, peanut butter or kiwi fruit). We have many children with allergies to food and who can react quite severely to being exposed to such foods, so we need to try to be considerate of this. We also ask that you avoid foods which could be a choking hazard at this age such as popcorn and carrots. Please ensure that your child’s bag and containers are clearly labelled.

Please also be considerate of limited space in the room, and encourage any other family members (eg: siblings, grandparents) or friends to wait for you outside of the FRESH room, whilst collecting your child. With our new check in system collecting your child is safe and simple, please bring your sticker with you to the room and give it to the room leader. If you would like someone else to collect your child for you ensure that they have the sticker, however children will not be release from the FRESH room to children under 12 years of age. Thank you for your understanding of this process.

Here we spark the God-given gifts, character and desires within them, such that they are infectious influencer's in our world for God! During our time together we enjoy play with developmental and theme-appropriate toys, a healthy snack, a story and a craft activity that reinforces the teaching focus.

Healthy, Safe Snacks

We ask that you provide a labelled drink bottle for your child and a healthy snack of fruit is provided by Victory Kids for the children to share.

Property

Please do not let your child bring toys with them into Victory Kids. They are often distracting to your child and others, and it is not nice for us to have to deal with lost/broken things. You may like to hold on to your child’s item until after Victory Kids. Any belongings left behind will be moved to the lost property box, located adjacent to the Pods baby’s room. We also ask that if your child has a backpack with a change of clothes etc you keep this with you rather than leave it in the room. If your child requires changing during the service we will call you to assist with this. Our leaders are however very happy to assist with toilet training and this is very common in the SPARK room so please speak to the leaders about this if it applies to your child.

Collection of your children

We like to ensure that the children are calmly seated to await your arrival at the end of the service, so please remember to sign your child out of their room as soon as possible. With our new check in system collecting your child is safe and simple, please bring your sticker with you to the room and give it to the room leader. If you would like someone else to collect your child for you ensure that they have the sticker, however children will not be release from the SPARK room to children under 12 years of age. Thank you for your understanding of this process.

Our Stomp program is designed to help them with this through developmentally appropriate fun games, craft activities, stories and music. A healthy snack is provided.

Our goal is to help kids connect to God and other children. We believe every child at Victory Kids can have an “explosive” impact in their world with Jesus in their life. Here our leaders will help your child learn more about God and encouraged them in their personal relationship with Him. Each service has one main concept, which is reinforced with the children in a variety of ways to meet the learning needs of individuals.

Journals

We encourage your child to bring with them a journal to Victory Kids. We believe journals are a great tool in helping individuals grow and connect with God at a deeper level. It helps the children better connect with the message and receive the most they can from their connect group time through writing down the information that is important to them.

Tithes & offerings

We believe that giving is an integral part of our relationship with God. Matthew 6:21 says that it is more blessed to give than receive. Through specific teaching and leading by example, we encourage the children to bring along an offering each Sunday.
